With fast-paced developments in both fundamental research and proof-of-concept applications, the field is also looking at opportunities for industrialization. This Nature Conference provides a platform for presenting recent developments and discussing emerging themes and challenges in 2D materials research. It will cover fundamental physical properties, synthesis, characterizations, processing, and device applications of 2D materials with a focus on electronics and optoelectronics.
